We recently hosted an exclusive webinar for our Pixfizz clients — unpacking how they’re prepping for Black Friday & Cyber Monday with fresh ideas and platform updates.

Today, we’re opening a quick recap of that session for you: the what’s new in 2025 + how you can use it to super-charge your holiday campaigns. Here’s a short video recap, followed by three key shifts that make this year distinct.

1. Shoppers are more value-driven — not just bargain hunting

In 2025, shoppers aren’t simply chasing the deepest discount — they’re looking for genuine value, clearer messaging and easier experiences. That means for print and photo-gift businesses, it’s less about “50% off everything” and more about “meaningful deals + strong story + fast fulfilment.

What you can do:

  • Position your promo as a smart gift shortcut: “Personalised photo book + matching prints = 25% off, ship in 3 days.”

  • Be transparent about deadlines: “Order by Dec 10 to guarantee Christmas delivery.”

  • Highlight what makes your product special (personalisation, limited edition, small batch) rather than just the discount.

2. Owned channels & automation are increasingly critical

With rising ad costs and a more competitive landscape, brands strengthening their email, SMS, and onsite automation are gaining an edge. For example, transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates) become prime real estate for festive promos if done right.

What you can do:

  • Add a banner to your order confirmation: “60% of customers add something extra at checkout — see what we suggest.”

  • Activate an automated abandoned-cart workflow: send a friendly follow-up + suggest a gift variant.

  • Segment your audience: past-buyers vs new, photo-books vs wall-art, and tailor your messages accordingly.

3. Print-on-demand & photo-gifts:

Hurry + personalisation win: In this niche, speed + relevance matter more than ever. Shoppers expect personalised print products delivered fast, with simple checkout and inspiring visuals.

What you can do:

  • Feature a landing page hero banner: “Holiday Photo Books – Customize Now, Ship in 48 hrs.”

  • Use badges like “Limited Edition”, “Most Gifting Item”, “New Arrival” on product pages.

  • Create gift-idea categories with strong visuals: Calendars • Photo Books • Wall Art • Gift Sets.

The fundamentals of seasonal selling still matter: plan ahead, build urgency, provide value.

But in 2025, the brands that win will do it with smarter promotion, stronger owned channels, and personalised fulfilment.
